With temperatures starting to warm up, replace your filter if necessary.
In the afternoon turn on your air conditioner to check and see if outside condenser unit is running and if inside air is blowing. Let unit run for at least 10 minutes. Does the air temperature from the inside vents feel cold? If yes, good. If the air temperature does not feel cold or if the condenser unit outside is not running, check your breaker panel for a tripped breaker. If the breaker is tripped, reset and retry. If the unit is still not running, call for service.
Doing these simple steps before the first heatwave will get you ahead of the summer heat.
